San Antonio SBDC client profiled in Business Week

Ellen Pfeiffer, owner of Generations Concierge & Errand Services was profiled in the March 10 issue of Business Week. Pfeiffer was featured in a series called “Revisiting the Rebounders,” a follow-up to a 2009 story that chronicled her journey from laid-off employee to brand new business owner.

Pfeiffer is a client of the San Antonio Small Business Development Center, a component of UTSA’s Institute for Economic Development.

“Ellen is a dynamic, energetic woman whose business saves invaluable time for the person too busy to run his or her own errands. It’s a pleasure to see her business grow,” said Patrice McElfresh, the Senior Business Advisor who is helping Pfeiffer plan and develop marketing strategies for her new business.

“The SBDC helped me to focus on the right customers with the right marketing tools. Through our monthly meetings, they provide continuous direction as I grow. Patrice is energetic and enthusiastic in her support,” Pfeiffer said.
