The UTSA Institute for Economic Development will sponsor a two-day Franklin Covey workshop, “The 7 Habits for Small Business Managers” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 7 - 8, 2010. The workshop will be held in the Durango Building (2.316) at the UTSA Downtown Campus. The cost is $395 for one; $350 for two or more participants from the same small business. This two-day program focuses on the fundamentals of great leadership. Both new and experienced small-business managers will get practical information on such topics as conflict resolution, prioritization, performance management, accountability and trust, collaboration, and team and employee development.

“I learn something new with every ‘7 Habits’ session, and I enjoy seeing the light bulbs turn on as every participant discovers something new and inspiring for themselves,” said Deirdre Pattillo, workshop facilitator.

Pattillo is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources and the project manager/human resource specialist for the SBDC Contracting Resource Center.
